Seoul: South Korea is preparing for a rainy Thursday across several major cities, with forecasts indicating varying precipitation conditions. Most cities are expecting rain, while some areas anticipate sleet.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the weather forecast for 12 major cities in South Korea reveals that Seoul, Incheon, Suwon, Cheongju, Daejeon, Jeonju, Gwangju, Daegu, and Busan are all expected to experience rain, with temperatures ranging from 8°C to 17°C as the high for the day. Notably, the probability of rain in these cities is generally low, with the exception of Jeonju and Daegu, both having a 10% chance of rain.
Chuncheon and Gangneung are forecasted to have sleet. In Chuncheon, the probability of precipitation is at 30%, while in Gangneung, it rises significantly to 80%, indicating a higher likelihood of sleet. Jeju, with a high of 17°C and a low of 12°C, has a 60% chance of rain, marking it as another area with a notable probability of precipitation.
