Seoul: South Korean bond yields witnessed an upward trend on January 19, 2026, with several key treasury bonds showing increases compared to the previous session. The bond yields for 1-year, 2-year, 3-year, and 10-year treasury bonds all reported gains.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield rose to 2.580%, marking an increase of 2.4 basis points from the previous session's 2.556%. The 2-year treasury bond yield increased to 2.910%, up by 3.1 basis points from 2.879%. The 3-year treasury bond yield climbed to 3.130%, an increase of 5.0 basis points from the previous rate of 3.080%.
The 10-year treasury bond yield showed the most significant rise, reaching 3.565%, up by 7.7 basis points from the previous 3.488%. In addition to treasury bonds, the 2-year monetary stabilization bond yield increased to 2.958%, a rise of 2.9 basis points from 2.929%.
Further, the 3-year corporate bond (AA-) yield increased to 3.599%, up by 3.9 basis points from the previous 3.560%. The 91-day certificate of deposit remained unchanged at 2.680%.
