South Korean Bond Yields Experience Minor Decline

Seoul: South Korean bond yields saw a slight decline on the morning of May 22, 2026, with various maturities showing minimal changes.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury bond yield decreased from the previous session's 3.165% to 3.162%, marking a change of 0.3 basis points. The 2-year Treasury bond yield fell by 1.5 basis points, moving from 3.602% to 3.587%. Similarly, the 3-year Treasury bond yield experienced a reduction of 0.8 basis points, settling at 3.745% from 3.753%.

The 10-year Treasury bond yield showed the most significant decrease, dropping by 3.0 basis points from 4.174% to 4.144%. Additionally, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond yield recorded a decline of 0.4 basis points, adjusting from 3.634% to 3.630%. The 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield decreased by 1.2 basis points, moving from 4.381% to 4.369%.
