South Korean Bond Yields Experience Decline Across Most Terms

Seoul: South Korean government bond yields saw a decline across various terms on April 3, 2026. The yield on the 1-year Treasury Bond fell to 2.992% from the previous session's 3.000%, marking a decrease of 0.8 basis points. Similarly, the 2-year Treasury Bond yield decreased by 3.6 basis points, settling at 3.362% from 3.398%. The 3-year Treasury Bond yield also experienced a reduction, dropping to 3.448% from 3.477%, a change of 2.9 basis points.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 10-year Treasury Bond yield fell significantly by 5.7 basis points, reaching 3.747% from the prior 3.804%. The 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond also witnessed a decline, with yields moving from 3.426% to 3.397%, down by 2.9 basis points. The 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield decreased to 4.093% from 4.114%, a reduction of 2.1 basis points. However, the 91-day Certificate of Deposit remained unchanged at 2.820%.
