Seoul: South Korean bond yields showed mixed movements on the morning of December 5, 2024. The yields on different maturity Treasury Bonds (TB) and Monetary Stabilization Bonds (MSB) experienced varying changes, reflecting shifts in investor sentiment and market conditions. According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond yield decreased by 0.6 basis points to 2.752% from the previous session's 2.758%. In contrast, the 2-year Treasury Bond yield increased by 1.0 basis point, settling at 2.694% compared to 2.684% in the previous session. The 3-year Treasury Bond yield also saw an increase of 1.5 basis points, moving to 2.641% from 2.626%. Furthermore, the yield on the 10-year Treasury Bond rose by 0.9 basis points to 2.774% from 2.765% in the previous session. The 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond yield climbed by 1.1 basis points, reaching 2.711% from the previous 2.700%. The 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield showed a more significant increase of 1.9 basis points, advancing to 3.229% from 3.210%.
