Nagoya:South Korea clinched its first Asian Games gold medal in men's 3x3 basketball, defeating Qatar 19-10 at the Kinjo Futo Station Square Venue.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean team comprised Lee Ju-yeong, Kim Seung-woo, Lee Dong-geun, and Ku Min-gyo, with each team having a backup player. Lee Ju-yeong was a standout performer, scoring nine points and making three successful shots from beyond the arc.
Earlier in the day, the South Korean women's team secured the bronze medal by defeating Thailand 21-8. Additionally, the South Korean men's team had previously won gold in the 5x5 basketball tournament, and the women's 5x5 team reached the final after overcoming China in the semifinals.
