South Korean authorities have simplified the quarantine regulations for people with Covid-19 amid soaring infection numbers, in order to ease the burden on the health care system. People up to the age of 60 with mild or no symptoms of the coronavirus must monitor their own health status when in quarantine at home, while the authorities focus on case of older patients or those with pre-existing conditions.
