Seoul: South Korea's 12 major cities are preparing for a mix of sleet, snow, and sunshine on Thursday, with varying temperatures and precipitation. The weather forecast indicates a range of conditions, potentially impacting daily activities across the nation.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul is expected to experience sleet with temperatures fluctuating between a high of 5°C and a low of -5°C, and a 60% chance of rain. Incheon will see snow, with temperatures ranging from 4°C to -3°C and a 30% likelihood of precipitation. Similarly, Suwon and Cheongju are forecasted to have sleet, with a 60% chance of rain and temperatures between 5°C/-6°C and 6°C/-4°C, respectively.

Daejeon will witness snow with a high of 7°C and a low of -4°C, though the chance of precipitation is only 20%. Chuncheon, on the other hand, faces a higher chance of snow at 60%, with temperatures dropping to -11°C. Meanwhile, Gangneung is predicted to enjoy sunny weather with temperatures between 7°C and -3°C, and no expected precipitation.

Jeonju and Gwangju are set to experience cloudy conditions, with Jeonju having a 20% chance of rain and temperatures between 6°C and -3°C, while Gwangju expects no rain with similar temperatures. Jeju will have sleet, a 20% chance of rain, and temperatures ranging from 9°C to 4°C.

In the southern cities, Daegu anticipates cloudy skies with a 20% chance of rain and temperatures from 8°C to -5°C. Busan will enjoy sunny weather, with temperatures between 8°C and -3°C, and no rain expected.
