South Korea Braces for Sleet and Rain in Major Cities

Seoul: A forecast released this morning indicates that sleet and rain are expected across South Korea's major cities on Saturday, with varying temperatures and chances of precipitation.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul, Incheon, Suwon, Cheongju, Daejeon, and Jeonju are all expected to experience sleet with a high probability of 70%. These cities will see temperatures ranging from a high of 4°C in Seoul and Suwon to a high of 8°C in Jeonju.

Chuncheon is forecasted to have snow with a 70% chance of precipitation and temperatures hovering around 5°C at the high end. Meanwhile, Gangneung is expected to receive rain with a high of 8°C and a 60% chance of rain.

Contrasting these conditions, Gwangju and Jeju are expected to enjoy sunny weather, with Gwangju having a high of 9°C and Jeju a warmer 13°C. However, there remains a significant chance of rain, at 80% and 60% respectively. Daegu will also see sunny weather with a high of 10°C and a minimal 20% chance of rain.

Busan stands out with cloudy weather expected, but no rain is anticipated, and temperatures will reach up to 12°C. Yonhap News Agency's forecast provides residents with crucial information to plan their day around the expected weather conditions.
