‘Sold Out on You’ Claims Top Spot on Netflix’s Non-English Series Chart

Seoul: The romantic comedy "Sold Out on You" has secured the top position on Netflix's weekly non-English series chart just a week after its debut, as announced by the streaming giant on Wednesday. The 12-part series achieved a remarkable 4.7 million views for the week ending Sunday, making it the most-watched non-English TV series available on Netflix during that period.

According to Yonhap News Agency, "Sold Out on You" was featured in the top 10 across 42 countries and regions, claiming the number one spot in Taiwan, Guatemala, and Peru. The SBS series stars Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin and follows the romance between Matthew Lee, a meticulous farmer and natural cosmetics producer, and Dam Ye-jin, an insomniac home shopping host who requires Lee's rare ingredients for an important contract.

In addition to "Sold Out on You," two other Korean titles made the top 10 list. The horror series "Kyrigo" secured the fourth position, while Season 2 of the crime action series "Bloodhounds" ranked sixth. Meanwhile, in the English show category, "Beef" Season 2, notable for featuring South Korean A-list actors Youn Yuh-jung and Song Kang-ho, reached the third position.

In the non-English film category, the action film "Humint," directed by Ryoo Seung-wan, achieved the ninth spot.
