Snow and Sleet Expected Across South Korea’s Major Cities

Seoul: South Korea is set to experience a wintry mix of snow and sleet across its major cities on Monday, with temperatures hovering around the freezing mark. Cities such as Seoul, Incheon, Suwon, Cheongju, and Daejeon are expected to see significant snowfall, with an 80% chance of precipitation reported.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the forecast indicates snow in Chuncheon as well, with a high of 2°C and a low of -1°C. In contrast, coastal cities like Gangneung, Jeju, and Busan are likely to experience sleet, with temperatures ranging from 6°C to 8°C. Jeonju, Gwangju, and Daegu are also expected to encounter sleet, with a 60% chance of rain in these areas.

Overall, residents are advised to prepare for slippery conditions and potential travel disruptions due to the wintry weather.
