SK Networks Remains in Red in Q4

Seoul: SK Networks Co. on Tuesday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 48.1 billion won (US$33.1 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company's financial performance for the October-December period reflected ongoing challenges despite some improvements in operating profit.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the fourth quarter increased by 60.5 percent year-on-year to 36.7 billion won. This rise in operating profit highlights some positive operational changes within the company during this period.

Sales for SK Networks, however, took a downturn, decreasing by 8.8 percent to 1.84 trillion won. The decline in sales indicates persistent market pressures affecting the company's revenue generation capabilities. Despite efforts to improve profitability, the overall financial outcome for the quarter remained negative.
