Seoul:SK bioscience Co. announced a 43 percent drop in its third-quarter net income, totaling 12 billion won (US$9 million), compared to the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean company's regulatory filing revealed an ongoing operating loss of 11.2 billion won for the July-September period, although this was an improvement from the 19.4 billion won loss recorded a year prior. Despite the net profit decline, SK bioscience experienced a 21 percent increase in revenue, reaching 182.4 billion won for the quarter.
