Significant Movements in KOSPI 200 as Market Closes

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 saw varied movements as markets closed, with several companies experiencing notable changes in their share prices. Among the companies, KEPCO E and C witnessed an increase, closing at 61,300, up by 1,100. Hyundai Rotem also saw a rise, ending at 57,400, marking an increase of 2,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, ShinhanGroup experienced a decline, closing at 49,500, a decrease of 500. Similarly, Daewoong Pharm saw a drop, finishing at 131,700, down by 2,100. Meanwhile, Celltrion's shares rose by 700, closing at 184,500, and LIG Nex1 experienced an increase, ending at 225,000, up by 2,000.

In other movements, KIH rose by 1,000, closing at 73,800, while Hyundai Department Store saw a decrease, ending at 46,600, down by 700. Fila Holdings closed at 42,050, up by 450, and Kia Corp. saw a rise, finishing at 106,700, up by 1,300.

The report also highlighted that NAVER's shares declined by 2,000, closing at 202,000, while NCsoft experienced a significant increase, ending at 184,700, up by 3,500. Hanwha Ocean saw an increase of 2,800, closing at 47,950, and HD Hyundai Infracore's shares rose by 90, ending at 7,150.

Other notable changes included LG Chem, which closed at 244,500, up by 3,500, and Kumho Petrochem, which saw an increase of 500, ending at 92,000. On the downside, Samsung Card closed at 39,650, down by 300, and KT saw a decrease, finishing at 43,900, down by 500.
