Seoul: Shinhan Financial Group said Thursday its 2024 net profit totaled 4.62 trillion won (US$3.2 billion), up 3.3 percent from a year earlier.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company reported in a regulatory filing that its operating income for the year rose 7.4 percent on-year to 6.54 trillion won. The financial group also experienced a significant increase in its annual sales, which climbed 21.5 percent to 74.52 trillion won.

These financial results highlight Shinhan Financial Group's continued growth and robust performance in the fiscal year 2024. The company's strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies appear to have contributed to the positive financial results.
