Shin Min-a, Kim Woo-bin to Wed Next Month After 10 Years Together

Seoul: Actors Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin are getting married next month following a decadelong relationship, Shin's agency and Kim said Thursday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the couple will hold a private wedding ceremony with their family and close friends on Dec. 20 at an undisclosed venue in Seoul. In a handwritten letter posted on his fan forum, Kim confirmed the news. "Yes, I am getting married. I will build a family with the person I have spent a long time with and will continue our journey together," he wrote, asking fans for their support as he enters this new chapter in his life. Shin's agency also asked fans "to send warm support and blessings."

The two reportedly met in 2014 during a commercial shoot and began dating the following year. Since making her debut in 1998 as a model, Shin, 41, has built a successful acting career across film and television. Most recently, she starred in Netflix's mystery thriller "Karma."

Kim launched his career as a model in 2008 and has since appeared in numerous shows and films. After being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017, he took a hiatus to focus on his health. He made his comeback in 2022 with the sci-fi action film "Alienoid." In September, the 36-year-old appeared in Netflix's Korean original series "Genie, Make a Wish."
