Suzanne Schulting of the Netherlands led from the front to win her second Olympic gold in 1,000 metre short track at the Beijing Winter Games on Friday but Italian heroine Arianna Fontana crashed out. Schulting broke the world record of 10 years standing in the quarter-finals with 1 minute 26.514 seconds and though her final time was considerably slower thoroughly deserved gold.
