Seoul: Samsung Electronics Co.'s Bespoke Steam has been ranked first in a recent U.S. consumer performance evaluation of robotic vacuum and mop products, industry sources said Thursday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean tech giant's Bespoke Steam topped a list of 14 robot vacuum and mop products reviewed by Consumer Reports. The product achieved the highest overall score across 10 categories, which included cleaning performance, mopping capability, and user convenience.

The Bespoke Steam was notably the only model to receive the top rating for mopping performance, the sources added. In light of this achievement, Samsung Electronics plans to unveil an upgraded robot vacuum cleaner at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January.
