Samsung Supplies TVs, Signage Solutions to World’s Largest Cruise Ship

Seoul: Samsung Electronics Co. announced it has supplied 6,000 units of TVs and signage displays to the Star of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship operated by Royal Caribbean Group.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean tech giant provided Crystal UHD Hospitality TVs for guest cabins on the 365-meter-long cruise. These TVs are designed to offer passengers an engaging viewing experience with vibrant picture quality. Additionally, Samsung's UHD Smart Signage QMC products have been installed in public areas to provide high-resolution content.

Samsung Electronics has a history of collaboration with Royal Caribbean, having supplied TVs and other display products for 28 of their ships. Chung Hoon, executive vice president of the visual display business, stated, "As demand for richer entertainment experiences rise, we are proud to deliver our most dynamic commercial displays to Star of the Seas and look forward to expanding our collaboration in the years ahead."
