SEOUL: Samsung Electronics Co. is set to convene a series of high-level meetings next week to outline its business strategies for the upcoming year, according to industry sources. The meetings will focus on tackling current challenges and formulating marketing plans for key products, including the anticipated Galaxy S25 smartphone.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the global strategy meeting for Samsung’s electronics products division is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, while the semiconductor division will hold its discussions on Thursday. These biannual meetings serve as a platform for executives to exchange insights on sector-specific and regional issues, as well as to set business objectives and sales strategies for the next year.

Vice Chairman Han Jong-hee, who oversees the electronics products business, and Vice Chairman Jun Young-hyun, responsible for the semiconductor division, are expected to lead their respective meetings. However, Chairman Lee Jae-yong is not anticipated to participate in the
discussions, sources noted.
