Seoul: Samsung Biologics Co. on Wednesday reported its 2025 net income of 1.61 trillion won (US$1.1 billion), marking a significant increase of 55.2 percent from the previous year. This financial milestone underscores the company's robust performance and strategic growth over the year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for 2025 climbed by 56.6 percent year-on-year to reach 2.06 trillion won. The rise in operating profit reflects the company's effective cost management and operational efficiencies.

In addition to the substantial profit growth, Samsung Biologics also recorded an increase in annual revenue, which rose by 30.3 percent to 4.55 trillion won. This increase in revenue highlights the company's expanding market presence and its ability to capitalize on growing demand within the biopharmaceutical sector.
