Milan: Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Inc. have secured multiple awards at a prestigious international heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) trade fair in Europe, highlighting their innovative technologies, the companies announced on Wednesday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, at the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) 2026, which commenced in Milan, Italy, on Tuesday, Samsung Electronics received MCE Excellence Awards in eight categories. Samsung's 2026 AI Wind-Free Combo Pro wall-mounted air conditioner was honored with two awards, while their Eco Heating System (EHS) lineup, including the EHS All-in-One, EHS Cascade Controller, DVM Hydro Unit, and Climate Hub, collectively won four awards. Furthermore, the DVM air conditioner, designed for large commercial and residential buildings, also earned two awards.

LG Electronics reported that it too garnered eight awards at the biennial exhibition, notably in the air-to-water heat pump category. The company's award-winning roster included the Therma V R290 Monobloc heat pump system, the LG Multi V i commercial air conditioner, and the LG DualCool AI.
