S. Korean Bond Yields Show Mixed Movement Across Maturities

Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced varied movements across different maturities as of February 10, 2025. The 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) yield increased slightly by 0.1 basis points (BP) to 2.673%, compared to the previous session's 2.672%. Meanwhile, the 2-year TB yield fell by 0.5 BP, settling at 2.708% from 2.713% in the prior session.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 3-year TB yield saw a minor rise of 0.3 BP to 2.638%, up from 2.635% previously. The 10-year TB yield decreased by 0.6 BP, now at 2.830%, down from 2.836%. The 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield dropped by 1.1 BP, moving from 2.693% to 2.682%.

Additionally, the 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) with an AA- rating experienced a marginal decline of 0.3 BP, reaching 3.239% from 3.242%. The 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) yield remained unchanged at 2.990%.
