S. Korean Bond Yields Show Decline Across All Terms

Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced a decline across various maturities on the morning of April 30, 2025. The yields for the 1-year, 2-year, 3-year, and 10-year treasury bonds all recorded decreases from their previous session values.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield fell to 2.379% from 2.390%, marking a change of -1.1 basis points. Similarly, the 2-year treasury bond yield decreased to 2.337% from 2.355%, showing a decline of 1.8 basis points. The 3-year treasury bond yield also dropped by 1.7 basis points, landing at 2.293% compared to the previous session's 2.310%.

The 10-year treasury bond yield experienced a more significant decrease, falling by 2.5 basis points to 2.578% from the prior session's 2.603%. In addition to treasury bonds, the 2-year monetary stabilization bond (MSB) yield also declined, moving to 2.330% from 2.347%, a decrease of 1.7 basis points. Similarly, the 3-year corporate bond (AA-) yield fell by 1.8 basis points, reaching 2.885% from 2.903%.
