WASHINGTON, South Korea and the United States have agreed to suspend another military exercise to facilitate negotiations over North Korea's nuclear weapons program, Reuters reported Friday.

South Korean Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo and U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis agreed to suspend the exercise "Vigilant Ace" to give diplomacy with North Korea "every opportunity to continue," the news agency quoted the Pentagon as saying.
