Seoul: An air services agreement between South Korea and Guyana officially came into effect Thursday, establishing the legal framework for air routes linking the two countries. This significant development was announced by Seoul's foreign ministry.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the two countries signed the pact last December, which outlines rules to facilitate air services between them. The agreement's implementation followed the completion of necessary domestic procedures for its approval, as confirmed by the ministry.
