S. Korea, China hold forum on financial cooperation
SEOUL, Aug. 30 (Yonhap) --The Korea Securities Depository (KSD) said Thursday it held a conference on how to boost cooperation in the financial sector with China.
The 2018 South Korea-China Financial Cooperation Forum, which is the third of its kind, took place in the Chinese city of Qingdao, according to the KSD.
During the one-day event, experts and officials from the two neighboring nations discussed diverse financial issues, such as the offshore issuance of securities and cross-initial public offerings, as well as desirable future paths for deeper Seoul-Beijing financial ties, it added.
"We will explore ways to further boost the capital market by having close exchanges and cooperation with financial authorities in China," the KSD said in a release.
