S. Korea and Poland Enhance Information Sharing on Korean Peninsula

Warsaw: South Korea and Poland have agreed on the importance of enhancing dialogue and information sharing concerning the Korean Peninsula. This agreement was reached as both nations initiated a bilateral platform focused on security strategies, as reported by Seoul's foreign ministry.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the first-ever dialogue occurred in Warsaw on Monday, involving Jeong Yeon-doo, vice minister for diplomatic strategy and intelligence from South Korea, and Robert Kupiecki, undersecretary of state for security policy at the Polish foreign ministry.

The discussions highlighted the security connections between Europe and Northeast Asia, leading to a mutual understanding of the necessity to escalate consultations and information sharing about the Korean Peninsula. The ministry's release emphasized the strategic cooperation between South Korea and Poland as crucial partners in the defense industry. Both countries agreed to work collaboratively to further deepen their relationship by sharing long-term external strategies and policies.
