London: Renowned contemporary artist Do Ho Suh is set to open his extensive solo exhibition at London's Tate Modern, showcasing his signature fabric architectures created over the past three decades.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the exhibition, titled "Walk the House," explores Suh's questions about the "enigma of home, identity and how we move through and inhabit the world around us," the gallery said on its website. It features immersive artworks that delve into themes of belonging, collectivity, individuality, connection, and disconnection. Suh examines the intricate relationship between architecture, space, the body, and the memories and moments that define us.

The show highlights early installations, paper works, and videos by the artist, who is well known for re-creating architectural structures and objects using fabric. Suh describes this process as an "act of memorialization," inviting visitors to walk through life-sized fabric replicas of his past and present homes.

Born in Seoul in 1962, Suh has lived in various global cities, including Berlin, Rhode Island, and New York, and currently resides in London. His work consistently explores the malleability of physical and metaphorical space and how the body interacts with its spatial surroundings.

The exhibition, presented in partnership with Genesis, opens Thursday and runs through Oct. 19.
