Seoul: President Lee Jae Myung has put forward a proposal to restore communication channels with North Korea, emphasizing the significance of this move as a foundation for "peaceful coexistence" between Seoul and Pyongyang.
According to Yonhap News Agency, President Lee articulated his proposal during an event commemorating the launch of the 22nd Peaceful Unification Advisory Council. He underscored the necessity of pursuing unification as a goal, irrespective of how long the process might take, whether decades or even a millennia.
