Seoul: Police announced the apprehension of three individuals suspected of attempting to kidnap elementary school children in western Seoul over the weekend. Authorities have filed for warrants to formally detain two of the suspects.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Seoul Seodaemun Police Station confirmed that the suspects were captured as part of an investigation into two reports. These reports described incidents where two men in a white-colored vehicle allegedly attempted to entice children into their car by offering them rides home.

On Monday, an elementary school in the Seodaemun district issued a notice to parents, alerting them about the incident. In response to a similar report received on Tuesday, police initiated a thorough investigation, confirming that two attempted child abduction cases had occurred in the district.
