Washington: Prime Minister Kim Min-seok will visit the United States this week to meet with senior U.S. officials and lawmakers, his office announced on Wednesday. This marks Kim's inaugural overseas trip as prime minister, during which he will also engage with Korean residents in the U.S.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim's itinerary includes visits to Washington and New York, spanning from Thursday to Monday. The prime minister's office emphasized that this visit is anticipated to contribute to the stable maintenance and strengthening of South Korea-U.S. relations.
