Seoul: "Physical: 100," Netflix's Korean reality competition sensation, is set to expand globally with new editions in the United States, Europe, and Asia, the streaming service announced. The expansion reflects the show's increasing popularity and the demand for its unique competition format.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Netflix has confirmed the development of an American version, currently titled "Physical: 100 USA." The European version is also in the initial stages of planning. Both versions will maintain the original show's format, featuring elite competitors from sports, fitness, and military backgrounds, as they compete in rigorous tests of strength and endurance.
Earlier this year, Netflix revealed plans for a third season, now titled "Physical: Asia." This edition will showcase a major inter-country competition, with participants representing their respective nations. Adding to the excitement, Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao will make an appearance in "Physical: 100 Asia," which is slated for release in the fourth quarter.
The expansion follows the show's successful first two seasons, which captivated audiences by bringing together 100 of Korea's top fitness contestants to participate in challenging "quests."
