Park Ji-hoon to Make Musical Comeback with ‘Re:flect’ After Three-Year Hiatus

Seoul: Singer-actor Park Ji-hoon is set to re-enter the music industry with his latest release, "Re:flect," marking his first musical endeavor in three years. The announcement was made by his agency, YY Entertainment, who confirmed that the single album will be available to fans at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. This release follows Park's previous work, his seventh EP "Blank or Black," which was launched in April 2023.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Park Ji-hoon gained notable attention recently for his role as the deposed Joseon-era king Danjong in the acclaimed Korean historical film "The King's Warden." His return to music comes after an extended break from recording, as he shifts focus back to his singing career with "Re:flect." The album is said to delve into themes of introspection and lingering emotions, capturing both new and nostalgic feelings.

"Re:flect" features three tracks, including the lead single "Bodyelse," along with "Watercolor" and "I Can't Hold Your Hand Anymore." "Bodyelse" is described as a mid-tempo pop dance piece characterized by dreamy synthesizer sounds and an emotional guitar riff, exploring the realization of love emerging from routine experiences. The album promises to present a tapestry of emotions, from the unfamiliar to the wistful, resonating with listeners' personal reflections over time.
