Paris Baguette Launches First Outlet in Laos as Part of Global Expansion

Vientiane: South Korean bakery brand Paris Baguette announced the opening of its first outlet in Laos, marking a significant step in its international expansion strategy. This development comes as the brand aims to strengthen its presence in the Southeast Asian market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Paris Baguette, a subsidiary of South Korean food and beverage company Paris Croissant Co., entered into a master franchise agreement with Laos-based private conglomerate Kolao Group in 2024. This agreement enables the master franchisee not only to establish franchise units within a designated area but also to sub-franchise them to other parties.

Paris Croissant Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hur Jin-soo stated that the launch of the Laos outlet is part of the company's strategy to expand its business network in the region and bolster its global growth engine. He emphasized that an optimized business model, leveraging Paris Baguette's global business expertise and Kolao Group's local market knowledge, will facilitate sustained growth in the Laos market.

Currently, Paris Baguette operates approximately 730 overseas outlets across 13 countries, including the United States, Canada, France, Britain, China, and Mongolia.
