Nongshim Opens 4th Overseas ‘Ramyeon’ Experience Space at JFK Airport

New york: Nongshim Co., South Korea's leading instant noodle maker, announced the opening of its fourth overseas "experience space" for "ramyeon" products at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. This new location aims to provide international travelers an opportunity to explore and enjoy Nongshim's variety of ramyeon and snack offerings.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the U.S. outlet is part of a series of global expansions by Nongshim, following the launch of Shin Ramyun Bunsik in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in August, Harajuku, Japan, in June, and Machu Picchu, Peru, in April. The newly established K-style noodle bar is situated on the fourth floor of Terminal 1 at JFK Airport.

Nongshim reported a 1.9 percent increase in sales during the January-September period, reaching 2.63 trillion won (US$1.77 billion), compared to 2.58 trillion won in the previous year. The company generates nearly half of its total ramyeon sales from international markets.

With a robust global presence, Nongshim operates six domestic plants and six overseas production facilities, including two in the United States and four in China. The company distributes its instant noodle products worldwide, featuring well-known brands such as Shin Ramyun, Chapagetti, and Neoguri.
