South korea: NC Corp., a prominent player in the gaming industry, announced a significant financial turnaround for the second quarter, reporting a net profit of 131.2 billion won (US$92.8 million). This marks a substantial shift from the 36 billion won loss recorded in the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the April-June timeframe reached 173.9 billion won, representing a 1,053 percent increase from the previous year. Additionally, NC Corp.'s revenue surged by 101.5 percent, totaling 770.5 billion won.

The financial outcomes exceeded market forecasts, with analysts' average net profit estimate being 115.7 billion won, as per a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data subsidiary of Yonhap News Agency.
