Seoul: South Korea's top search engine operator Naver Corp. announced it will offer a special map service tailored to the upcoming comeback concert by K-pop group BTS. The service aims to assist fans by providing essential information such as the locations of information desks and other facilities at the concert venue.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Naver's map application will display the layout of Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul, where BTS is set to perform on Saturday. The map will include details on the locations of gates, restrooms, and medical facilities to ensure a smooth experience for attendees.
The concert marks the release of BTS's fifth studio album, "Arirang." Naver has also integrated real-time updates on traffic control and public transportation into the map service. Notably, subways are scheduled to bypass Gwanghwamun, City Hall, and Gyeongbokgung stations from 2 p.m. until after the concert concludes at 10 p.m.
The map service is designed to aid foreign tourists as well, being available in English, Chinese, and Japanese. The police anticipate approximately 260,000 people to gather for this major event.
