N. Korea Fires Unidentified Projectile Eastward: S. Korean Military

Seoul: North Korea fired an unidentified projectile eastward on Wednesday, according to South Korea's military.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Joint Chiefs of Staff detected the launch but did not provide additional details. This event follows a recent launch where North Korea fired a short-range missile toward the East Sea last Thursday.

These missile launches occurred as South Korea and the United States prepare to start their key annual combined exercise next week. North Korea has strongly criticized these exercises, labeling them as war rehearsals.
