Seoul: The latest closing prices for the KOSPI 200 index reveal a mix of gains and losses among major South Korean companies, highlighting the varying market conditions.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LGCHEM and KTandG emerged as notable gainers in the market, with LGCHEM climbing by 5,500 to reach 261,000 and KTandG increasing by 6,700 to close at 182,700. Meanwhile, PanOcean saw a slight decline, dropping 10 to 5,850. In contrast, SAMSUNG CARD rose by 800 to finish at 47,350.

HANMISemi experienced a significant drop, decreasing by 8,500 to 200,500, while NAVER also saw a decline of 3,000, closing at 226,000. KIWOOM similarly fell by 2,000 to 290,500. On the other hand, Kangwonland saw a rise of 320, finishing at 14,500, and CheilWorldwide increased by 420 to 19,120.

LOTTE WELLFOOD's stock price went up by 2,200, reaching 104,000, while Hanwha Ocean experienced a decline of 1,200, closing at 90,700. KIH saw a drop of 5,500 to 204,000, whereas HANWHA LIFE increased by 225, finishing at 4,580. SANIL ELECTRIC also faced a decrease, dropping by 5,800 to 161,400. In contrast, Celltrion's stock went up by 4,700, closing at 195,000.

Netmarble experienced a rise of 1,050, reaching 39,000, while HYUNDAI ROTEM fell by 3,500, closing at 144,200. Misto Holdings saw a significant increase of 2,450, finishing at 46,500, and MiwonComcl rose by 5,200 to 123,600. HD-Hyundai Marine Engine decreased by 2,800, closing at 56,400.

LG CNS faced a decline of 1,200, ending the day at 72,100, while WooriFinancialGroup increased by 150, finishing at 33,500. LGELECTRONICS experienced a drop of 4,300, closing at 175,200. In contrast, HANAFINANCIALGR rose by 4,700 to 133,300, and GS increased by 3,800 to 98,800.

TKG Huchems experienced an increase of 430, closing at 15,700, and JB Financial Group rose by 450 to 28,250. HYUNDAIDEPTST saw a drop of 3,700, ending at 106,400, while HYUNDAIGLOVIS increased by 2,000 to 207,500. DAEWOONG PHARM rose by 3,500, finishing at 128,000, and ShinhanGroup increased by 3,800, closing at 107,400.

POONGSAN saw a rise of 3,100, reaching 83,800, and KOLON IND increased by 3,100, closing at 56,900. SK Innovation faced a slight decline, dropping by 600 to 108,600, whereas KBFinancialGroup experienced a rise of 800, finishing at 171,500. SD Biosensor decreased slightly by 50 to 6,350, and FOOSUNG dropped by 370, closing at 9,860.
