Mixed Performance for KOSPI 200 Stocks as Key Players Witness Varied Results

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a mixed performance as several key stocks experienced fluctuations in their closing prices. Notably, companies such as Mobis and Doosan recorded decreases, while others like CJ Logistics and POSCO INTERNATIONAL posted gains.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Mobis closed at 364,500, a decrease of 13,000, while Doosan saw a significant drop, closing at 846,000, down by 26,000. S-1 also faced a decline, ending the day at 74,900, a reduction of 2,600. Among other decliners, SeAH Steel Holdings fell by 5,600 to 140,600, and SKSQUARE witnessed a steep decline of 15,500, closing at 292,500.

On the positive side, CJ Logistics experienced a modest increase, closing at 95,600, up by 300. POSCO INTERNATIONAL also saw gains, with a rise of 500, ending the day at 54,400. Meanwhile, HanmiPharm reported an increase, closing at 448,000, up by 2,500, and GC Corp surged by 4,900 to close at 166,900.

Other notable movements included HITEJINRO, which rose by 30 to 18,970, and KEPCO, which increased by 250 to 50,000. Nongshim and COWAY also reported gains, closing at 430,500 and 89,200, respectively, with both witnessing an increase of 500 and 3,000.

The mixed results reflect the varied performance across different sectors represented in the KOSPI 200, indicating diverse market conditions impacting these companies.
