Jeju: A 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck waters off the southern island of Jeju on Saturday, but there were no immediate reports of damage.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the quake occurred at 9:30 p.m. in waters about 63 kilometers west of Jeju Island, some 450 km south of Seoul. The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) reported that the epicenter was at a depth of 19 km.
The KMA stated that the quake is not expected to have caused any damage.
