Seoul: The Ministry of Education announced that 43 instructors associated with Rhee Park School, a conservative education group, have been teaching in after-school programs at 57 elementary schools across the nation for as long as four years.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the education group, named after former conservative Presidents Rhee Syng-man and Park Chung-hee, is currently under investigation by police. The group is suspected of managing a team of online commentators to influence public opinion in favor of the conservative candidate leading up to the June 3 presidential election.

The Ministry of Education concluded a two-week field survey concerning instructors linked to Rhee Park School, revealing that 32 of the 43 instructors remain active in teaching after-school programs, specifically the Neulbom School initiative. The ministry plans to conduct an on-site investigation of the involved schools and intends to take legal action against five education organizations implicated in the deployment of instructors to these Neulbom School programs at elementary schools.
