Seoul: Lotte Fine Chemical Co. on Thursday reported its second-quarter net income of 94.2 billion won (US$65.4 million), marking an increase of 507.7 percent from the previous year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the April-June period reached 61.9 billion won, reflecting a 611.5 percent rise from the same period last year. Additionally, the revenue for the quarter increased by 38.1 percent, amounting to 586.3 billion won, as detailed in a regulatory filing.
