GS and KIH also posted gains, with GS rising by 3,500 to 101,000 and KIH increasing by 2,400 to 200,500. LG Chem and LG Display experienced upward movements as well, with their stocks climbing by 1,500 and 180 points, respectively.
On the downside, Celltrion faced the largest decline among the stocks, with its price dropping by 8,500 to settle at 202,000. Meritz Financial and Daewoong Pharm also saw significant decreases, with their shares falling by 4,800 and 5,300 points, respectively. Other companies such as KTandG, LG HandH, and Lotte Wellfood reported declines of 2,500, 4,500, and 4,400 points, respectively, impacting the overall performance of the index.
