Seoul: LG Energy Solution on Tuesday reported an estimated second-quarter operating profit of 113.3 billion won (US$74.1 million), representing a 77 percent decline from the previous year. The global battery manufacturer noted an increase in revenue by 24.8 percent, reaching 7.56 trillion won. However, details regarding net earnings were not disclosed.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Energy Solution's operating profit was 37.0 percent lower than the average projection from a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data arm of Yonhap News Agency. The company has indicated that it will publish its complete earnings report at a later date.
