Chicago: LG Electronics Inc. announced the opening of a new showroom for its luxury brand SKS in Chicago, marking a strategic move to enhance its footprint in the high-end built-in appliance market across the United States.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the newly launched showroom is situated in the Merchandise Mart, a prominent commercial hub in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The space, crafted by Italian architect Piero Lissoni, showcases five kitchen displays outfitted with SKS home appliances, which include refrigerators, ovens, and cooktops. The showroom also features furniture crafted in collaboration with Italian design brands like Arclinea and Living Divani.

This Chicago location is LG Electronics' third showroom in the U.S., complementing existing showrooms in Napa Valley and New Jersey. The SKS brand, which was rebranded from Signature Kitchen Suite in February, represents LG Electronics' premium built-in appliance line aimed at solidifying the company's position in the expanding high-end market.
