Seoul: President Lee Jae Myung's apartment in Seongnam, located just south of Seoul, is on the verge of being sold five months after it was initially listed, sources revealed on Tuesday. The property, situated in the affluent Bundang district, represents Lee's sole residence, co-owned with his wife, and was placed on the market in February as part of a strategic move to address escalating home prices.
According to Yonhap News Agency, officials from Cheong Wa Dae confirmed that the final contract for the sale is anticipated to be signed soon. This comes after a preliminary contract was secured shortly after the apartment was made available for sale. During a Cabinet meeting earlier in the day, President Lee remarked, "I no longer have a home," reflecting on the impending sale of his residence.
