According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee addressed senior aides during a meeting before his departure to Tokyo for discussions with Ishiba. Following these talks, he is scheduled to visit Washington for a summit with Trump on August 25. Lee underscored the importance of prioritizing the nation's lasting interests over personal or administrative standings.
