Seoul: K-pop girl group Le Sserafim will release its second studio album, "Pureflow pt. 1," next month, the group and its agency revealed on Monday. The quintet announced on the K-pop fan community platform Weverse that the new record will drop on May 22 at 1 p.m. (Korean time) through major online music services.
According to Yonhap News Agency, "Pureflow pt. 1" is Le Sserafim's first full-length album in nearly three years, following their 2023 album "Unforgiven." The release explores the theme of change and growth experienced by its five members as they confront fear and find strength. Source Music, the group's agency, stated that Le Sserafim, which debuted in 2022 with the message "We are strong because we have no fear," now presents a more mature perspective. The upcoming album showcases their belief that understanding fear has made them even stronger.
The lead single from the album, "Celebration," will be unveiled on April 24. The song focuses on celebrating the moment the group gained the strength to embrace change.
Le Sserafim achieved global recognition last October when its first single album, "Spaghetti," reached No. 50 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and No. 46 on the British Official Singles Chart Top 100.
